Whether you are wanting to create a newsletter for your class, or you want to create a simple way to gather emails for a collaborative project, adding a mailing list to your group or class site is as easy at 1, 2, 3.
1. Go to the page where you want to add the Subscription box and click on Page > Edit.
2. Click the add "Add an App" button in the zone where you would like the subscription box to be located, and under the Scholantis Category select "Newsletter Subscription
3. In the new webpart click the "Create / Repair Newsletter List", and voila your mailing list has been created.
Now that you have created your list you can manage the list by clicking on the Manage Newsletter link. There you will be able to manage your subscriptions, as well as organize your mailings.
