Jaclyn has two children in school in Powell River and was actively involved in Westview and Brooks PAC and District PAC for a number of years. Ensuring parent’s voices are heard at the School Board table has always been important to Jaclyn.

Jaclyn has worked as a child protection social worker for 20 years and now supervises the Powell River MCFD Child Protection team. Jaclyn is actively involved in many committees in town focused on family violence, poverty reduction, youth engagement, early years, and drug use intervention/education.
